Snider, 56, Cadillac, died Wednesday at the Traverse City hospital Mrs. Snider resided in Ionia from 1938 until 1941. He operated a meat packing company in Cadillac. Previous to his coming to Ionia, he had operated a poultry and egg business in Dearborn. He was born August 8, 1903 at Blanchester, Ohio, the son of John and Lydia Snider. Mr. Snider was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Dearborn. He was vice president of North Moose Legion of Moose, and a Fellow of the Moose. He was also past governor of the Loyal Order of the Moose. Surviving are his wife, Luella of Cadillac; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Doris) Pio of Dearborn and Mrs. Harry (Lucille) Hilmer of Inkster, one son, Leonard Snider, Jr., of Jackson; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Snider of Ionia, Clarence of Williamston and John of Plymouth, and one sister, Mrs. Lee (Mary) Rowe of Dearborn. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Howe-Peterson funeral home at Dearborn.
