DONALD FREDERICK SNOOR
CLARKSVILLE -  Donald Frederick Snoor, 46, of Morrison Lake, Clarksville, died
Friday in Grand Rapids.

He was born Nov. 20, 1937, in Jackson.

He was a 1955 graduate of Jackson high School, and attended Jackson Community 
College.

He served in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1960.

He was formally employed with Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance of Lansing, and 
Nationwide Mutual insurance of Muskegon, He was also claims manager of Muskegon and

Lansing Claim Service office of trans-America Insurance Agency, where he recently, 
completed 15 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Scott Snoor; his son, Jack Scott Snoor; his
daughter LauraLleann Snoor; two sisters, Doris Virginia Kurpinski, and Betty Jean Bayn, two
aunts, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be on Aug. 27, at 2:30 p.m. at Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel, 900
E. Michigan Ave.

The family will be at the Chapel Saturday, from 7  to 9 p.m., and on Sunday, from 2
to 4 p.m and 7 to 9 p.m. at the chapel.

A memorial has been established for the Michigan Chapter of the National Kidney 
Foundation.
