Ionia Sentinel, 26 Oct 1944

Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Jane Snow, 75, who died Tuesday evening in the 
home of a niece, Mrs. Ida Watkins, of Sparta, following illness of several 
years, will be held ?? afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Nazarene church of 
Portland.

The body reposes at the Neller funeral home, Portland.  The Rev. Henry 
Alexander of the Pilgrim Holiness church, Flint, will officiate, assisted by 
the Rev. E. Drell Allen, pastor of the Portland Church of the Nazarene.  
Pallbearers will be William Snow, Raymond Snow, Walter Hunt and Basil Kinney.  
Burial will be in Portland cemetery.

Mrs. Snow, for many years a resident of Portland, had lived for a time in Ionia 
before going to Sparta to reside with her niece.  Nieces and nephews are the 
only survivors.
