Mrs. Snow had long been afflicted with heart trouble, which was the cause of her demise. Funeral services where held at the Congregational church Sunday afternoon, Rev. C. I. Taylor officiating and the remains were buried in Portland cemetery. Mrs. Snow’s maiden name was Helen Preston. She was born in Ohio 68 years ago and 53 years ago she was married to Jacob Snow, who with two children, Jacob Jr., and George Snow, survive. Mr. and Mrs. Snow located in Westphalia in ?? moving to Danby 30 years later. For the past six years they have resided in the village.
