April 26, 1931 RAYMOND SNOW PASSES AWAY ON WEDNESDAY Only Son of Mr. and Mrs. George Snow a Victim of Tropical Fever Raymond Snow, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. George Snow, died at 3:15 Wednesday afternoon following a long illness of tropical fever contracted while in the naval service in Panama. Raymond was a pupil in the Ionia schools and a member of the Ionia boy scouts until he enlisted for naval service. He had served several apprentices in the navy and had been rapidly promoted. Several months ago he was taken sick and had been cared for at a naval base as Los Angeles, Cal., when his mother was called there by his critical condition. Not long after her trip she had him removed to the Reed inn here, which Mr. and Mrs. Snow manage. Slowly he failed against a stiff fight that was waged to overcome the malady. Raymond was born in Connecticut 20 years ago.
