Edward B. Snyder, 92, died Tuesday evening at Cook’s Rest Home where he had 
been a patient for the past four years.  He was born in Otisco township 
December 15, 1861, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Snyder.  He lived his early 
life in Otisco where he was married to Myrtie Reed.  Shortly after they moved 
to Ionia township.  Mrs. Snyder preceded him in death in 1931.  In 1932 he 
retired from his farm and moved to Ionia city.

Surviving are one son, Lloyd Snyder of Ionia township; one daughter, Mrs. Helen 
Byrd of Miami, Florida; one granddaughter, Mrs. Howard Ransom of Ionia 
township; three great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Holcomb of 
Ionia.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Stone-Kauffman 
funeral home with the Rev. Court O. Adams officiating.  interment will be at 
Otisco cemetery.
