Lyons Herald, 22 Dec 1910

Joseph B. Snyder died on the streets of Muir Saturday morning at about 8:30.  He 
was visiting his daughter Mrs. Frank Rohler and while walking on the sidewalk in 
front of John D. Strachan’s store reeled and fell and died before help reached 
him.  Deceased was an old soldier and an inmate of the Soldiers Home but visited 
at Muir and Ionia frequently.  The funeral was held Monday from the home of a son 
at Ionia.
