Miss Polly Decker was born in Columbia county, N.Y., March 20, 1833, was 
married to Henry M. Snyder of Pewamo October 5, 1885, and removed to Pewamo the 
same year, where she lived 22 years.  Mrs. Snyder was an attendant of the 
Baptist Church when her health permitted; has had a continued sickness of about 
six weeks, though evidence of failing health has been manifest for several 
years.  She died May 27, 1907, aged 74 years, two months and seven days.  A 
brother and sister are still living in York state, who with the husband and 
daughter and two sons mourn the loss of a faithful wife, mother and sister.  

Services were held in the home on Thursday, conducted by Rev. W.R. Waters, 
pastor of the Baptist Church.  Interment in East Plains cemetery.
