June 5, 1925 FRANK SNYDER PASSES AFTER LONG ILLNESS J.F. Snyder who has been deeply afflicted for a long time of an incurable disease passed away Sunday at his home on North Jordan Lake Ave. Mr. Snyder spent all his life in Carlton and Odessa Townships and has reared his family mostly in Lake Odessa which has been his home for many years. He was a believer in the Divine and was a member of the I.O.O.F. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. M.H. Dawson officiating. His subject was, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter, fear God and keep his commandments for this is the whole duty of man. Singing was by Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Goodemoot. Burial at Lake Side cemetery. A large attendance of Odd Fellows was present at the funeral rites. OBITUARY James Franklin Snyder was born in Dark County, Ohio, March 8, 1862 and departed this life May 1, 1925, aged sixty-three years, two months and twenty-three days. He was united in marriage with Katherine Klepfer November 30, 1883. To this union were born nine children, three having gone before. He leaves to mourn their loss, a wife and six children, Pete, Floyd, William, Doris, Sara and George.
