Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Mon. July 12, 1954

Mrs. Millie Ann Snyder, 97, died Sunday evening a Greenville Memorial Hospital 
where she was taken Wednesday after suffering a broken hip.

She was born in Wardsville, Wisconsin, September 26, 1857, the daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. William Bottomley, February 9, 1892 she was married to Henry Snyder in 
Wisconsin. In 1920 they came to Ionia county where they settled on a farm near 
Orleans.

Mr. Snyder preceded her in death in 1931.

She was a member of the Orleans Methodist church.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Phillip Temple of Lakeview, Mrs. 
William Trebian of Orleans, Mrs. John Smith of Rollin; one son, Charles H. 
Snyder of Marshall; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-
great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. George Tyson of Shullsburg, Wis.

The body will be at Stone-Kauffman funeral home until noon Wednesday when it 
will be taken to the First Methodist church in Ionia where funeral services 
will be held at 2 o’clock.

Burial will be at Orleans cemetery.
