Funeral services for Martin Snyder, 79, of I.O. Street were held Wednesday
afternoon at Huffman Funeral Home.  He died October 10 at Butterworth Hospital,
Grand Rapids.    Rev. Ross Tracy officiated at the services.  Interment was at
Rest Haven Memory Gardens.

Mr. Snyder was born December 19, 1891 in Grand Rapids.  He was the son of John
and Lucy (Alberta) Snyder.  He was married to Retta Rich July 18, 1932 in
Bowling Green, Ohio.  He was a maintenance man employed by Gibson Products
Corporation.  He was a World War I veteran.

He is survived by his wife Retta; one step-daughter Mrs. Marion Wiggins of
Belding; one sister Miss Ella Snyder of Barryton; two brothers, Frederick Snyder
of Muskegon, and John Snyder of Montana; several nieces and nephews.
