Peter A. Snyder, 93, of Ventura, California, formerly of Lake Odessa, died
Saturday in California.  He was born February 2, 1885 in Barry county, the son
of Frank and Emma Klepfer Snyder and attended Beard schools.

He married the former Reva Bush, February 2, 1943 in Lake Odessa, she preceded
him in death in December, 1957.  Five brothers and two sisters also preceded him
in death.

Mr. Snyder was employed at the Lake Odessa Canning Company, retiring in 1959 and
lived his entire life in the Lake Odessa area, moving to California in 1966.

Survivors include Mrs. Sarah Dempsey of Kalamazoo; several step children,
grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services are Wednesday at the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel with burial in
Lakeside cemetery.
