Daily Standard - Monday, Aug. 26, 1901

William Snyder, living on Hackett street, died on Sunday evening, following a 
nervous shock. He was aged 75 years. Deceased was a long time resident of Ionia 
county, and in the early history of the settlement, kept Snyder's tavern, at 
the Hackett corners on Belvue road, two miles south of Tremayne's Corners.
