Sunfield Sentinel- March 22, 1944

SUNFIELD- March 22, - Mrs. Eva M. Snyder, 73, died at the home northeast of 
Sunfield, Tuesday morning following an illness of several months. She was 
born in Sebewa township, Ionia county, and has spent her entire life near 
here.

Funeral services will be held from the Mapes funeral home in Sunfield Friday 
at 2 o'clock with Rev. M. Benson of the Methodist church officiating and 
burial at the Sebewa cemetery.

she is survived by one son, Vern, at home; two daughters, Ms. Don Benschoter 
of Sunfield and Mrs. Walter Brown of Lake Odessa; seven grandchildren and 
one great-grandchild.

SEBEWA RESIDENTS TAKEN BY DEATH
Funeral services were held at the Mapes funeral home in Sunfield Friday, for 
Mrs. Eva Snyder, 73, who died Tuesday at her home two miles south of Sebewa 
Corners. She had been ill several months.

She was the widow of Henry Snyder whose death occurred nearly four years 
ago. Surviving are one son, Vern, at home; two daughters, Ms. Winnie 
Benschoter in Sebewa and Ms. Walter Brown in Lake Odessa, six grandchildren 
and one great-grandson.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Merl Benson of the Sebewa Sunfield 
circuit with burial in East Sebewa cemetery.
