Linden J. Snyder Dies at Hastings

Linden J. Snyder, 56, of Woodland, died Sunday at Pennock Hospital after a long 
illness.

He was born January 30, 1918, the son of Jay and Edith (Phillips) Snyder in 
Baltimore Twp., Barry County. He attended Hastings Schools, graduating in 1935, 
and was employed at E.W. Blue Co. for over 35 years, for the past 20 years in 
the pattern shop. He married Margaret Tulles on May 28, 1939 & lived all their 
married life in the Hastings area. In 1949 they moved to their present farm home 
on Martin Rd. He was a member of Hastings Elks, Hastings Moose, Hastings Country 
Club, Woodland Masonic Lodge and was a former member of the Woodland Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a son, L. Michael of Salem, Ohio; a 
daughter, Mrs. Martin (Karen) Cracolici of Niles; three grandchildren; and two 
brothers, Wayne Snyder of Aurora, Ohio and Ivan Snyder of Hastings.

Funeral services will be held today, July 3 at 1:30 p.m. at the Leonard-Osgood 
Funeral Home. Rev. Willard Curtis will officiate with burial at Riverside 
Cemetery.
