PETER SNYDER WAS LIFE-LONG EPISCOPALIAN Mrs.Peter Snyder died at her home in Lake Odessa on Wednesday, Sept. 21, after a lingering illness of two years. She had been a life-long member of the Episcopal Church. The funeral was held at the late home on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 24, the Rev. S.S. Cox, Pastor of Calvary United Brethren Church officiating, and interment was made in Lakeside Cemetery. Those from a distance who were in attendance at the funeral were Philip Cooper of Chicago, Elmer, Benjamin, Theodore, Wheeler, and Sarah Cooper, and Mr. and Mrs Clarence Dempsey all of Detroit, Harry Cooper of Gladwin, Mr and Mrs Floyd Gallup and Mr. and Mrs Albert Lustey and family of Hastings, Mrs Jane Shull of Nashville, Mr and Mrs Milton D'Clute, B.C. and Victor D'Clute of Blenheim, Ont., Can. OBITUARY Addie Viroqua D'Clute was born in Ouvay, Raleigh township, Kent county, Ont., Can., on April 19, 1871. She was married to Theodore Frank Cooper on October 31, 1894. To this union were born seven sons and one daughter. She was married on May 7, 1930 to Alphonso Peter Snyder of Lake Odessa,Mich.. She departed from this life on September 21, 1938, at the age of 67 years, five months and two days. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband and her children who are Philip Ross Cooper in Chicago, Victor Lisle cooper, New London, Conn.; Elmer Franklin, Benjamin Louis, Theodore Lount, Wheeler Gordon, and Sarah Emily Cooper, all of Detroit; Harry Allan Cooper, Gladwin; an four brothers, Walter D'Clute, Elyria, Ohio; Milton D'Clute, Vancouver, B.C.; Victor D'Clute Blenheim, Ont.; and Newton D'Clute, New Westminister, B.C. and a host of other relatives and friends.
