Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. October 25, 1962

Services held For Geo. Snyder Tuesday

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 .m. at the Gorsline Brothers Funeral 
Home at Williamston for George N. Snyder, 55 of 7465 Dennis road, Webberville. 
He passed away Saturday at the Lansing hospital, after an illness of a year and 
half.

George was a bricklayer by trade and had lived in Lansing after his marriage to 
Mary Contreras and for about ten years at Webberville.

A native of Lake Odessa, he was the son of Frank and Katherine Snyder and spent 
his early life here.

He was a member of the Adrian Masonic Lodge no.! and the Michigan Farm Bureau.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters Mrs Katherine Gross of Wareham, Mass. 
Susan Lee and Mary D. at home, a son George Jr. of Miramar, calif., a brother 
Peter of Venture Calif., two sisters Mrs Sarah Dempsey of Detroit and Mrs Doris 
VanSiclen of Lake Odessa and three grandchildren.

Burial in Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa.
