Virginia K. Snyder, 85, of Belding, died Tuesday January 13, 2004 at United 
Memorial Hospital Center in Greenville.  Virginia was born September 19, 1918 
in Ionia, the daughter of Harry and Rose Brown Kennedy.

She was married September 30, 1978 to Wayne Snyder and he survives along with 
their children, Carl and Betsy Koehnlein of Muir and Sharon and Mike Coon of 
Stanton.

Virginia is also survived by her grandchildren Kent and Jane Coon, Jenny and 
Curt Petersen, Carrie Koehnlein, Kelly and Jeff Sandborn; her great-
grandchildren, Jeremy, Callie, and Adam.  Virginia is also survived by her 
sister, Marilyn Gilbert of Cleveland, Ohio; her aunt Betty Droste of Ionia and 
several nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband 
Russell Moore.

Funeral and committal services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Feuerstein 
Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Ken Harger of Shiloh Community Church 
officiating.  Interment will be in Otisco Township Cemetery.  Visitation will 
be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alvah N. Belding Library.
