The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, March 13, 1971
A resident of Ionia for the past 25 years or more, Mrs. E. Lulu Snyder, 86, of 
126 West Lincoln avenue, died Friday evening at Ionia County Memorial 
Hospital.  Born September 23, 1884 in Crystal, a daughter of Henry and 
Phillinda Taft Crowell, she made her home in Ionia with her twin sister Mrs. 
Harry Knapp, the sole surviving relative.  She was preceded in death by her 
husband Eldon, in 1914.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. March 15 from Stone-Kauffman funeral home, with 
Rev. Robert McComb of First Presbyterian church officiating.  Mrs. Snyder was 
a member of the church.  Bearers will be Harry Hendrickson, Carrol Kennedy, 
Robert and Thomas Westbrook.  Burial will be in North Plains cemetery.
