W. Snyder. Mrs. Snyder and son Merl were living on a farm they were working and Mrs. Snyder had apparently been in usual health but that had not been the best for some time. She was found dead in bed Thursday morning of hear failure. The funeral was held at Hastings on Saturday afternoon and about four o’clock the Royal Neighbors of Lake Odessa to the number of about forty gave their service at the cemetery. A number of friends also attended. Mrs. Snyder was one of the Woman’s Club presidents and was an attendant of the Congregational church while living in Lake Odessa. For some time the family were prominent in the village, the doctor being interest in village affairs and politics, as well as a physician of wide practice. The only one left of the family is a son, Merl, an older son Charles dying in the west several years ago.
