Donna Jean Sobleskey, age 60, of Muir, passed away September 16, 2006 at home. 
She was born October 12, 1945 in Charlevoix, the daughter of Edward and 
Dorothy (Kaskey) Howe. Donna married Gerald Sobleskey Sr. in 1963. She worked 
at Electrolux and Frigidaire. She was a member of Ionia Moose Lodge and UAW 
Local 137.  Donna loved bingo and angels.

She is survived by her loving husband Gerald Sobleskey of Muir; parents, 
Edward and Dorothy Kaskey of Charlevoix; children, Jerald Sobleskey Jr. of 
Muir, Lisa and Steve Gwilt of Portland, Sonya and Randy Short of Ionia, Jackie 
Ferris of Ionia, Daniel and Jennifer Sobleskey of Muir; brother, Edward and 
Greta Kaskey of Washington State; sisters, Pat and Bob Griffith of Flint, 
Marguerite and Jerry Trujillo of New Mexico and 14 grandchildren.  She was 
preceded in death by three sons, Joey, Lonnie and Keith.

Funeral services will be held 11a.m., Wednesday, at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Rev. Melvin Fox officiating.  The family will receive friends and 
relatives Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. until time of service at 
the funeral home. Scripture service will be held 9 p.m., Tuesday at the 
funeral home. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Donna's name 
to Ionia Area Hospice or the family of Donna.
