Ionia Sentinel Standard – Tuesday, 3 December 1957
Following funeral services held Monday at 3 pm, Pau Sochor, 70, of 533 King 
Street, was interred at Highland Park cemetery.  Services were conducted at 
the Phelps funeral chapel by Elder Hollis Morel, pastor of the Seventh Day 
Adventist church.  Mr. Socher died Thanksgiving Day, November 28, at the Ionia 
County memorial hospital.  Bearers were Louis Wagner, Eugene Hackett, John 
Peterson, Martin Lalza, Arnold Sipperley and Lyle Baker.

Attending from away were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Papar, Joyce and Charles, Mrs. 
Dale Decker and Mr. and Mrs. John Slap of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph 
Tichvon and Mrs. Angela Evans of Portland, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kline of 
Kalamazoo, Mrs. Joseph Murphy of Rockford and Mr. and Mrs. James King of Palo.
