                          LARRY SOLOMON

SARANAC - Larry Solomon, 60, of 6211 Riverside Dr., Saranac, died May 9, at 
Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids after a long illness.

He was born August 1,, 1927 in Charlevoix, the son of  Leon E.Solomon and 
Josephine M. Greenwalt Solomon.

He was a Navy WW II Veteran and a first class seaman.

Survivors include; his wife,Lois; two sons, Stuart Solomon of Holland and Steven 
Solomon of Saranac; one daughter, Suzanne L. Postema fo Jenison; one brother, 
Robert Solomon of Tennessee; two sisters, Shirley Smith of Saranac and Marlene 
Moss of Port Huron; six grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Saranac Community 
Church, the Rev. Stanley Hagemeyer officiating.

The family will be at the Lake Funeral Home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers so to the American Legion.
