Ionia Daily Sentinel – Monday, 24 March 1913

James Somers, for 42 years a resident of Ronald, died Sunday morning at 6:10 
of heart trouble.  He was 73 years of age and was a carpenter and former in 
that township all of his life there.  Besides the widow he leaves five 
children, Mrs. Florence Graves of Ronald, Fred Somers, California, Mrs. 
Lillian Young of Vickeryville, Wm. Somers, of Detroit, and Mrs. Minnie Ross at 
home.  The funeral will be attended Wednesday morning at 10:30 from the 
residence.
