Excerpts from Portland Online Obituary
NICHOLAS JOHN SONDAY
Died Saturday July 17, 2021-age 15 of Sumner, MI.
Born October 11, 2005 in Grand Rapids, son of John and Gwen (Barnes) Sonday.
Nicholas is now free after a lifetime struggle with Downs Syndrome.
Survived by his parents, Gwendolyn (Steve Sterman) Sonday and John (Bobbi  
Sedelmaier)Sonda; twin sisters, Elizabeth and Rebecca Sonday, special Auntie 
Beaner and Many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev.Todd Hoskey at 11 AM, Thursday July 
22, 2021 at Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.
Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery.
Visitation 5-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Believe in Miracles or the Make 
A Wish Foundation  in memory of Nicholas.
