The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 10, 1971
Rev. Theodore Forbes officiated at funeral services Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at 
North Plains church for Mrs. Polly V. Soper, who died Monday.  Vocalist was 
Mrs. Theodore Forbes and organist was Mrs. Carl Snyder.  

Bearers were Glenn Ackerson, Lawrence Sheaffer, Joseph Wolthuis, Wallace Cook, 
Thomas and Robert Westbrook.  Interment was at North Plains cemetery.
