Bradenton, Fla.- Blanche Irene Sorenson, 64, of 4215 Bamboo Terrance died 
unexpectedly at her home of a heart attack Sept, 2.

Born in Ionia July 31, 1920, she was the daughter of Lewis and Bessie Gates Huntley.

She attended Ionia Public Schools and operated her own beauty parlor on Jackson 
Street. She had lived in Holt and at Long Lake before moving to Florida about 5 
years ag.

She was married to Lawrence Sorenson Sept. 3, 1942, and is survived by him and a 
daughter, Starr, both of Florida; a sister-in-law, Jennie Huntley, and a nephew, 
James Huntley, both of Ionia.

Cremation and memorial services were held in Bradenton Sept. 6. Burial was also in 
Bradenton.
