The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, March 5, 1921

The funeral for August Sorge was held at the residence, West Main street, 
Friday afternoon at 2:30.  Rev. M. H. Garrard of the Church of Christ 
officiated.  The bearers were Vern, Arthur and Irving Sorge and Philip 
Helmer.  Burial took place in the family lot at Oak Hill cemetery.
