Mr. Soughders had got up to build a fire and was found lying on the porch unconscious a few moments afterward. He was a veteran of the civil war, and is survived by four children: Mrs. Jay Arnold, Mulliken; Will Soughders, Milan, Ind.; Mrs. Will Russell and John Soughders, Portland. He is survived also by one brothers, Jacob, of Kalamazoo. Funeral services are too be held at the home of John Soughders this afternoon at 2:00 and burial will be made in Portland cemetery.
