Ellen M. Soule Passes Away
Mrs. Ellen M. Soule, 62, Route 1, Portland passed away suddenly at the Ionia County

Memorial Hospital, last Wednesday forenoon, where she had been a patient for three
days. A native of Ionia county she was a lifelong resident of the Sebewa area.

Mrs. Soule was employed as a chef at the Sessions Steak House, rural Ionia, 14
years.

Surviving are her husband, Emerson E.; two sons Phillip of Lake Odessa and Terry
with the U.S. Navy stationed at Great Lakes, Ill.; two sisters Mrs. Ernest (Sarah) Harris of
Portland and Mrs. Thomas (Evelyn) Wacha of Lake Odessa and two brothers; Calvin Daniels of 
Middleville and Albert Daniels of Lake Odessa.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, Rev.
Marvin Zimmerman officiated with burial in the Sebewa Baptist Cemetery.
