Hasting's Reminder Sat. January 22, 2022

Betty June Soule
Betty June Soule-aka-"The Mail Lady," age 74, of Lake Odessa,MI, passed away 
January 10, 2022.

Betty was born in Hasting's on March 24, 1947. She graduated from Lakewood High 
School in 1965. She delivered mail in Lake Odessa for 32 years prior to retiring 
in 2002.

She enjoyed many things over the years like dancing, traveling, bowling, playing 
euchre, and time with her grandson, but most of all, helping people. This was 
evident when she won the Janie Rodriguez award in 2009. She was a member of the 
Woodland Eagles Auxiliary, people helping people, since 1992.

She is survived by son, Kevin (Laura) Soule; daughter, Sally Soule; grandson, 
Karl (Melissa) Soule; sister, Penny (Roger) Taylor; brothers, Carl (Pat) Reese 
and Michael (Marcia) Reese; nephews, nieces and many friends.

She was preceded in death by mother, Beulah Brock; father, Harold Reese; brother 
Jimmie Reese; and sister Dawn Reese-Langham.

A memorial service followed by a luncheon will be held Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022
at 11 a.m. at the Woodland Eagles.
