Daily Sentinel Standard, Wed., March 13, 1929
Mrs. Mercey E. Soules, 78, widow of Fred Soules, who died in 1924, died at her 
home, 228 Yoemans street, Tuesday afternoon, March 12 at 3 o'clock. The funeral 
services will be conducted from home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. 
W.F. Kendrick. The interment will take place in Palo.

Mrs. Soules was a native of New York, and came to Michigan when a young woman. 
Many years of her life was spent in the vicinity of Carson City; but of late 
years she has lived in Ionia.

She leaves threes daughters, Mrs. Catherine Munger, and Bessie Low,  of Ionia 
and Mrs. Ethel Maloney of Carson City, and a sister, Sarah E. Wellwood, Carson 
City.
