Ionia Sentinel, 2 Feb 1972

Elsworth Sower, 62, known as Pat, of 5664 Wheeler road, Belding, died Monday at 
Belding Community hospital of an apparent heart attack.

Born in Ionia county September 1, 1909, he was the son of Milan and Margaret 
Horn Sower.  He was a metal finisher at Gibson Products corporation in Belding.

Besides his wife, the former Marguerite Greenhoe, he leaves three daughters, 
Mrs. Patricia Shindorf and Mrs. Richard Parker of Belding and Mrs. James 
Eldridge of Owosso; five sons, John, Larry and Dennis of Belding, Kenneth of 
Kalamazoo and Gary of Orleans; 20 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Clara 
Thompson of Lowell and Mrs. Gertha Brooks of Orleans.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in 
Belding.  Rev. Wilford Wood will officiate and interment will be at Greens 
cemetery, Ionia county.  Visitation hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday 
from 7 to 9 p.m.
