JOYCE SOWER

Died Monday, April 7, 2026-age 81 of Belding,MI. at Green Acres of Ionia.
Born June 11, 1944 in Belding, daughter of Delmer & Evelyn (Beach) Warner.
Graduated from Belding High School Class of 1962, then attended college.
She was a Tax preparer in Belding over 30 years.
Joyce loved watching Belding High school Football games, even driving to the UP 
when they won the State Championship.
She loved horses and had many of them over the years.
She & Charlie enjoyed camping, especially with the grandkids. 
They traveled many places including Alaska, Hawaii, Texas, South Dakota, & the 
Bahamas.
She loved watching sports, cheering on the Detroit Lions, Pistons & the Tigers.
She was known as the "Grandkid Whisperer", delighted spending time with them.
Survived by her children; Lisa (Tony) SOwer, Bill Mason, Jody (Randy) Adams, her 
grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Wood, Michael Sower, Shelly Sower (Anthony 
Tamez), Taryn (Nathan) VanDyken, Mark Sower,Mercedes Mason, great-grandkids; 
Sierra, Savana, Shaylee, Brayden, Ava, Alexia, Audrina, Dominic, Eliana, Teegan, 
Halli, Raven, Dylan,Kylan, Myana, Tyler,Nathan, her sister, Darlene (Fred) 
Lange, sister-in-law Linda Warner, many other extended family members
Preceded in death by her parents, grandsons; Kirk Sower, Chad Mason, Husband; 
William Mason, Siblings Richard Warner, LaVonne Moss, Arnold Warner, & life 
partner; Charles Berthume.
Celebration of Life will be on Friday, April 24, 2026, noon to 2pm at Johnson- 
Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Denny Craycraft Veteran's Freedom 
Park or the Belding B Foundation.
