Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. March 10, 2009

Roger William Spaans, of Ionia, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 28, 2009 at 
the age of 54.

He was born on April 29, 1954.

Roger is survived by his son Richmond (Kelly) Stone Spaans; granddaughter 
Kayla; mother, Clarice Cummings; brother Richard (Cindy) Spaans; sister Joy 
(Lester) Shepard and Jackie (Jim) Baron; nieces Leslie (Nick) Young, Kendall 
Baron and Drew Stuart; nephews Richard (Donna) Spaans, Tom Ruehs, Scott 
(Teresa) Ruehs and Graham Stuart and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Spaans and sister Cathie (Harry) 
Stuart.

A memorial service will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday March 14 at the 
Administration Building at the Ionia Free Fair grounds. Funeral arrangements by 
Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. You may make online condolences at
