Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 11 Jan 1958

Mrs. Frances Spalding, 92, late of East Lansing and formerly a long time
resident of Lyons, died Friday night at a nursing home in East Lansing where she
had been a patient only a few days following a light stroke.  

Mrs. Spalding was born in May of 1865 and had made her home in Lyons for some
time until moving to her daughter’s home about four years ago.  Her daughter is
Mrs. Laura Raab of East Lansing.

Funeral and arrangements are in charge of the Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir.
 Burial will be in Lyons cemetery.
