THEODORE H. SPANK SR. 
IONIA - Theodore H. Spank Sr., 79, of Ionia, died April 9. He was born the son of
Theodore H. and Elizabeth Avard Spank on Aug. 14, 1908, in Chicago, Ill.

He attended Prairie Creek School through the 8th grade. He was married to Fannie
Bailey in Indiana in 1937. he worked for the Lower Fuel CO., Fuller Furniture store, Boynton
Furniture store and Seymour's Furniture store.

Surviving are a son, Theodore Sprank Jr. of Ionia; two grandsons; and a brother,
Harold Sprank of Muir.  He was preceded in death by his wife Fannie on Dec. 14,1986.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday form the Rich street Chapel of Cook Funeral
Home, with the Rev. Keith Bovee officiating.

Burial will be in Balcom cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Memorial have been established for the Michigan Heart Association and the American 
Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
