Robert N. Sparks, Keene township farmer during his entire life, died January 2, 
at the place where he was born on April 13, 1867, when he became the baby son 
of Stephen and Ellen Sparks.  The aged gentleman had spent the past two months 
bedfast following a stroke.

He is survived by one son, Floyd, of the same residence; three grandchildren 
and nine great grandchildren.

Rev. Glenn McCarty of the Saranac Community church will officiate at the 
services which will be held at the Morris Funeral Home in Saranac this 
afternoon at 2 o’clock with burial in Marble cemetery.
