Ionia Sentinel Standard, 30 Oct 1958

Mrs. Mary (May) Spaulding, 77, passed away Wednesday evening at her home on 
route three, Portland.  She had been in ill health for many years.

Mrs. Spaulding had lived in the vicinity of Portland for 46 years.   She was 
born November 3, 1881 in Westphalia township the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Edward Fitzgerald. 

Surviving are her husband, Harry, and two sisters, Miss Anna Fitzgerald and 
Mrs. Agnes Henry of Lansing.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Patrick’s church 
at Portland.  Rev. Father Louis Flohe will officiate.  Rosary will be recited 
Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Neller funeral home in Portland.  Burial will be in 
Portland cemetery.
