Ionia Daily Standard, 9 Jul 1898

Day Spaulding died suddenly on Thursday, at his farm home 2 ˝ miles south of
Pewamo.  He was over 70 years of age, and was the elder of the brothers Day,
Mont. and Jerry.  The funeral will be on Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Lyons Cemetery.]
