The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, January 25, 2005
Virginia Spaulding, age 78, of Belding, passed away Friday, January 21 at her 
home with her family by her side.  Virginia was born May 18, 1926 in Belding 
to Dale B. and Thelma Ruth Ward Cartridge.  She was raised in the Belding area 
and graduated from the Belding Public Schools in 1943.  She attended college 
for two years for accounting and worked as an accountant for Belding Products.

Virginia is survived by four daughters and two son-in-laws, Barbara Swedenborg 
of Belding, Janette VanDrie of Belding, Ann and Glen Tyson of Belding, Martha 
and James Conway of Lakeview, one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Sara 
Spaulding of Belding, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  She was 
preceded in death by her parents, one brother Dale Cartridge and one son-in-
law David Swedenborg.

There will be a memorial service for Virginia Tuesday, January 25 at 11 a.m. 
at Shiloh Community Church with Reverend Harger officiating.  Memorial 
contributions may be made to the Belding Library or Hospice of Ionia.  
Services provided by Huffman-Brigham Funeral Chapel.
