Jane Faye Roberts Spear, 39, 391 Conkey Drive, Fenwick, passed away Saturday,
May 29, 1999, at her home.  She was born Sept. 13, 1959 in Carson City, the
daughter of Floyd N. and Donna R. O’Berry Roberts.  She married Randy C. Spear
on August 27, 1989, in Parnell.

Jane graduated from Ionia High School in 1977 and had resided in the Woodard
Lake area for the past 10 years.  She was formerly of the Belding and Orleans
areas.  She attended Evergreen Free Methodist Church, Sheridan, and had worked
at the Belding Post Office as a mail carrier for 17 years.

She is survived by her husband, Randy C. Spear; two daughters Corinne and
Mackenzie Spear, both at home; her mother, Donna Roberts of Orleans; her
grandmother Marguerite O’Berry of Sheridan; four sisters, Jackie Decker and Don
Hagan of Fenwick, Nancy McClintock and Patrick Marlette of Greenville, Pamela
Hansen and Randy Stewart of Stanton, Julie and Brian Baragrey of Belding, two
brothers and a sister-in-law, Jerry Roberts of Orleans, Jim and Connie Roberts
of Ionia; one sister-in-law, Tammie and Steve Yanowich of Colorado; two
brothers-in-law, Dan and Kim Spear of Missouri, Brock and Joann Spear of
California; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in
death by her father, Floyd N. Roberts, on April 24, 1993.

Funeral services were Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at Evergreen Free Methodist
Church, Sheridan, with the Rev. Jim Vandewarker officiating.  Interment was in
the Woodard Lake Cemetery.  The family suggests memorial considerations to
Jane’s two daughters.  The family was served by the Stebbins & Simpson Funeral
Home, Sheridan.
