Ionia Daily Sentinel, 14 May 1918

Mrs. Mary M. Speckin, aged 54 years, died Monday afternoon at her home, 501 North 
Jackson street.  Funeral services will be held from the residence at 1:30 and 
from the German Lutheran church at two o’clock Thursday afternoon.  Rev. Succop 
will officiate.  Burial in Highland Park cemetery.  She leaves four children 
besides her husband, Fred and Louis of Lansing, Mrs. Mary Richter of Buffalo and 
Will of Ionia.
