Dennis Lee Speckin, aged 52, of Ionia, passed away at his home Sunday, March 
27, 2005.  He was employed by Electrolux in Greenville for 23 years.  He 
attended Ionia Public Schools.  He was an avid golfer and boat lover.

He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine (Babcock) of Ionia. Children Tammy 
and Edward Sage of Saranac, Tim Speckin of Ionia and Christina and Allen Butler 
of Ionia.  Step children Stacy and Joe McCarroll, Christy and Andy Hickok, 
Derek Waddle and David Waddle all of Ionia.  Mother Anne Speckin of Belding.  
Brothers Ron and Sue Speckin of Ionia, Robert and Deb Speckin of Anderson, 
South Carolina.  Eleven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Clair, brother Brian and daughter 
Jacquline Ann Speckin.

Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held by the family.  A 
gathering of friends will be held Wednesday, March 30, at Lincoln Avenue 
Baptist Church from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. where there will be a luncheon provided.  
Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church 
or Hospice of Michigan.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.
