July 28, 1990 LANSING- Lillian B. Speckin, 89, of Lansing, formerly of Ionia, died Thursday at a Lansing Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 10, 1900, the daughter of George T. and Clara (McCord) Montgomery. She married Henry E. Speckin on May 31, 1919, in Mason. He preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1950. Surviving are three daughters, Pauline Coble of Lansing, Irene Taylor of Sebring, Fla., and Trina Taylor of Haslett; eight grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald H Speckin on June 28, 1985. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Cook Funeral Home in Ionia with the Rev. Theodore Voll officiating. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery. The family will be at the Rich Street Chapel on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. The organist will be Josephine Barna. Pallbearers will be James Carlson, John Carlson, David Carlson, Anthony Coble, Troy Speckin and Neal Speckin. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Stain-Glass Window Fund or to the Listening Ear.
