Spencer, aged 63 years, took place at her home corner of Washington and Pearl streets Thursday evening at 9:30 o’clock, following an illness of about four months duration. Mrs. Spencer had lived in this community practically all her life, having been born in Easton township. A sister, Mrs. Stebbins, died two weeks ago at her home in Easton township. Funeral services were conducted at her late home Sunday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. W. A. Riss officiating, and burial was in Riverridge cemetery. Her husband Justice Albert L. Spencer and a daughter, Mrs. Ray R. Edwards of Fenwick, survive and they have the sympathy of the entire community in their great loss.
