Mrs. Fannie Spencer, 77, died Monday evening at a Portland convalescent home 
after being ill for the past five months.  She had been a resident of Danby for 
many years and was a former teacher in the Portland school.  Surviving are one 
son, James of Danby, with whom she lived, two grandchildren and one sister.

Funeral services were held at the Sebewa Corners Methodist church Wednesday 
afternoon with interment at Welch cemetery in Sunfield township.  Mrs. Spencer 
was a member of the M.E. church at Sebewa and of the W.S.C.S. of that church.
