Belding News, 26 Sep 1912

Charles C. Spencer passed from this life last Monday, from the home of E. A.
Jenks of Pearl street.  He was born in Orleans, July 22, 1875.  The past few
years he has been a great sufferer from paralysis.  He was married to Bertha
Belding, Dec. 12, 1896.  To this union two children were born, one of whom died
in infancy.  Besides his widow and daughter, Gladys, and father, he leaves four
brothers and three sisters to mourn their loss, as follows:  J. R. Spencer, of
Belding; Jas. Spencer, of Lowell; John Spencer, of Orleans; Fred Spencer, of
Grand Ledge; and Mrs. J. C. Loreing, Mrs. Vern Bowen and Mrs. E. A. Jenks, of
Belding.

Funeral services were held at Green’s church, Wednesday, at two o’clock p.m.,
conducted by Rev. A. W. Biss.  Interment in Orleans cemetery.
