Belding Home News, 27 Jan 1881

Orleans Occasionals -  The funeral of a child of Mr. and Mrs. J. Spencer was
held at Orleans church last Saturday.  Mr. S. also buried his father, Jude R.
Spencer, a few days ago.  “Uncle Jude,” as he was familiarly known, was one of
the earliest settlers of the township, and was well known all over the county.
