Mrs. John Spencer died very sudden Saturday morning. She had just made a pan of biscuits and sat down to peel potatoes for breakfast when she was taken with a pain in her head. She called for the camphor bottle but before they got to her saw she was dying. She was so far gone she couldn’t tell them where to put the camphor but motioned to her temples. She died in just a few minutes. The funeral was held at the Orleans church. She leaves a husband and five sons to mourn her loss besides lots of friends. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad affliction. ------------ The wife of John Spencer who lives near Ravell’s mill was suddenly stricken with death Saturday morning. Mrs. Spencer arose as early as usual in the morning and while preparing to go about her daily duties was suddenly taken sick and called to her husband for assistance when she fell on the floor and expired. Mrs. Spencer was 49 years old and one of the pioneer residents of the township. The funeral occurred Monday undertaker Wilson of this city having charge of the remains. The deceased leaves besides her husband five boys all grown to manhood and one sister. Mr. Spencer has the sympathy of the entire community.
